Bloembollentijd

't Is weer bijna weekend.

The weekend is coming up! I hope the weather will be as nice as it was last weekend. I planted some bulbs back then. I saved most of them from a flower bed that will be destroyed next week. I hope I can find a suitable place for them somewhere else in the garden, but I've got no idea if that'll work, especially for the wild hyacinth.

The tulips will go back to where they came from. I'm just going to put a lot of other plants in that particular flower bed, that's why I got the tulips out of the ground in the middle of the Summer.

The wild hyacinth comes from a place that will be lost (but let's be honest, it was already lost to a) a caravan, b) a bigbag of woodchips, c) a concrete-mixer, d) concrete stakes, e) an awful lot of weed).

The mini-narcissus ended up between the peonies. I hope those bulbs will work out fine, because I took them out of indoor-flowerpots, where they didn't really thrive. I hope the'll do better in their natural habitat outside!

The crocusses will be spread into the lawn, in a newly-to-create patch of garden.

I've got no idea though where I'll plant the Star of Bethlehem. Same for the ornamental onion. Maybe next to the tulips...

Since I didn't even plant half of these bulbs, I hope there will be a lot of nice and sunny days ahead. Tibe likes it a lot better to help a hand when the sun is shining ;-)
